Last month, we launched the capability for hotel and travel brands to connect with customers through native, localised content.

But authentic connection is about more than language - it's about how you say it.

That's why this month we’ve launched Brand Tone and Brand Voice, with multi-lingual support. Now, content matches your unique identity at scale and in any language.

This functionality is available as part of brand configuration within the Obvlo Portal.

🎨  Brand Tone

  • What is it: Your brand's emotional quality and attitude.
  • Why it matters: It shapes the feeling people get when they interact with your brand.
  • For Example, your brand might feel:
    • Warm and approachable (like a friendly guide)
    • Professional and authoritative (like a concierge)
    • Playful and energetic (like an enthusiastic friend)
    • Calm and reassuring (like a family member)

🗣️  Brand Voice

  • What is it: Your brand's distinct personality and character.
  • Why it matters: It’s the specific words, phrases, style, and communication patterns that make your brand recognisable and memorable.
  • For Example, your brand will encompass:
    • Vocabulary choices (formal vs. casual, technical vs. simple)
    • Sentence structure (short and punchy vs. long and detailed)
    • Point of view (first person "we" vs. second person "you")
    • Communication style (direct vs. conversational, humorous vs. straightforward)
