Point A Hotels partnered with Obvlo to ensure they are discoverable the very moment guests start planning a trip, across both traditional search and the AI assistants.

The results came quickly: in the first eight weeks the content Obvlo builds and hosts drove visibility, thousands of engaged sessions and five figures of direct booking revenue.

"Our partnership with Obvlo has strengthened both our organic visibility and guest experience. In a short space of time, we've seen 60x more engaged sessions from search and AI vs our traditional blog content, while giving guests richer local content throughout their journey."

🔍 The challenge

Destination content is a key driver for hotel brands to be found by guests planning a trip. Historically, the challenge has been creating this level of rich content at scale and keeping it fresh. With AI now being used by over half of travellers during trip planning, marketers must also now optimise for Generation Engines (GEO) and Answer Engines (AEO).

Point A wanted to win discovery across multiple cities and languages, quickly, without the usual content costs or added workload. Content must also engage guests, move them towards a booking and enhance their in-trip guest experience.

🛠 What Obvlo does

Obvlo starts by auditing AI visibility. It measures how well a brand is set up to appear, then uses the analysis to decide what content to create and why, so every page targets a real visibility gap.

From there, Obvlo creates and hosts that content on the brand's domain, search and AI optimised, engineered to be cited, and built to load fast. Strategy, production, maintenance and hosting are all handled by Obvlo, with zero ongoing content management for the client.

📈 Boosting search visibility (SEO)

Guests searching real trip-planning questions, from where to get breakfast in London to things to do in Glasgow with kids, now find and visit Point A's guides directly.

  • Over ~4,500 pages indexed in Google, more than 95% of all pages published.
  • 98 new keywords appearing in top 10 Google results in under 8 weeks.
  • Obvlo-powered pages driving 60x more organic sessions than the pre-existing blog.

🤖 Winning the AI answer (AEO + GEO)

As trip planning shifts to AI, being on the results page is no longer enough. Brands have to be inside the answer, and Point A's guides now are:

  • Answer engines (AEO): citations appearing in Google's AI Overview.
  • Generative engines (GEO): citations appearing in Gemini and ChatGPT.
  • 12,000 AI impressions (AI Overviews, AI Mode).

🌍 Built to be discovered globally

Point A is building a global brand and needs to appear in search and AI citations in multiple languages, from every part of the world.

  • Content pages are published in thirteen languages.
  • 31% of sessions are on non-english language pages.
  • Pages are appearing in searches from 92 countries.

🎯 Turning engagement into direct bookings

Getting found is not the outcome. Discovery leads to engagement and ultimately direct bookings and revenue.

  • Engaged visitors explore an average of 7 pages each, for over 6 minutes per session.
  • In its first eight weeks, visitors who engaged with content from obvlo made bookings resulting in five-figure revenue.

💡 What this all means

In eight weeks, and from a standing start, Obvlo has made Point A's own website the source that both guests and AI tools turn to for its destination information, and turned that visibility into direct bookings.
