Looking for the perfect way to start your day? We have to say, brunch is one of our favourite ways to start the weekend and we are always on the hunt for somewhere new to try. The Northern Quarter is renowned as the city's brunch-central neighbourhood, with Ancoats following closely as one of the most desirable places in the city with many new restaurants taking up residence in the trendy neighbourhood.


From bottomless mimosas to full hearted English breakfast to cure those almighty hangovers, there are plenty of delicious ways to start your morning (or afternoon) in Manchester.


Ezra & Gil

Anywhere that we can combine some great coffee alongside stunning breakfast dishes will always be a win for us. Ezra & Gil have perfected the laid back environment making it the perfect spot to hang out, make the most of lazy brunches and create the perfect coffee break spot. Their colourful menu with some unique twists on traditional breakfast go-to's will have you wanting to go back to work your way through the entire menu. The excuse for eating brunch out that will never tire!


Evelyn's

Inspired by world flavours, Evelyn's combines elements of Asian fusion, Peruvian and Middle Easter Cuisine to serve up some fascinatingly unique flavours. The popular neighbourhood spot also takes advantage of seasonally-available produce, serving up fresh and wholesome food for all to enjoy. Having previously been on the hunt for a go-to place for Shakshuka, we can't get enough of Evelyn's take on the Tunisian originated dish. Trust us, you will want to try this!!


On the Hush

Since opening up at the end of 2021, On the Hush has become the go-to spot for bottomless brunch. Located in the heart of the Northern Quarter, the 'instagrammable spot' will captivate you from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk (or tumble😉) out. On the Hush have developed a strong range of unique hot drinks, including unicorn lattes, on top their extensive range of cocktails including a salted caramel espresso martini - a particular favourite of ours.


Another Hand

From the time behind 3 Hands Deli, Another Hand excels in the brunch scene with an extraordinary list of low intervention menu items - and don't forget ethically sourced British produce. With daily changing menus due to seasonally grown ingredients, the chefs even foraging from some of Manchester's finest growers to ensure freshness. A newbie to the Manchester food scene having only opened up in March 2022, Another Hand is definitely not to be missed!


Another Heart to Feed

Brunch and natural wines is pretty much the way to our heart, so Another Heart to Feed is currently next on our to eat list! After hearing some wonderful things from our foodie friends in Manchester we knew that Another Heart to Feed is certainly going to be a bit of us.
